The treatment success of
LDM® Medical-SPA results from the two modern technologies -
LDM® Plus (Local Dynamic Micromassage) and the
10 MHz frequency.
Through its dual-frequency ultra-sound technology, LDM
® Plus combines a number of physiological effects at the same time and can thus effectively modulate dynamic processes in the structure of the connective tissue. This property is of enormous significance for the treatment of various aesthetic and dermatological indications.
The additional
10 MHz frequency is what makes the
LDM® Medical-SPA different from traditional ultrasound machines in use in cosmetics. In contrast to other ultrasound frequencies, this frequency, with its half value depth of just 0.3 cm approx., acts almost exclusively on the upper skin layers such as the epidermis and dermis, whereas the 3 MHz and 1 MHz frequencies, with their approx. 1 and 3 cm half value depths respectively, operate mainly below these layers of skin.
What effect does LDM® Medical-SPA have on tissue?
The magic word to conjure up a healthy, beautiful skin appearance is "Balance"! If the balance between the build-up and breakdown of the connective tissue is disturbed, the skin ages and starts to look tired and sagging. LDM
® Plus helps at different levels to improve the balance status of the tissue. The result? A healthier, more beautiful-looking skin.
With the phonophoresis program, active substances can be incorporated into the skin for extra support, where they form a highly effective, longer lasting deposit.
What effect does LDM® Medical-SPA have on fatty and connective tissue?
With the TWL method described above,
LDM® Medical-SPA can be used, alongside dietary measures, to reduce body size using the upgrade for body applications (see Applications). This makes use specifically of the 1 MHz and 3 MHz frequencies, which can effectively reach the deeper fatty tissue. The physical properties of LDM
® Plus technology mean that a localized effect can be produced in the fatty tissue with which fatty deposits that are more resistant to treatment can be drained much more effectively. Once the fatty tissue has been "pumped out", lipolysis (breakdown of fat) can be stimulated locally in the subsequent treatment stage.
